prey to the coming New Wave, The Shoes made another stab at pop perfection.
Commercially, they almost made it. Artistically they did. Too bad the record compnay pundits had no clue how closely related New Wave was to Power Pop. Otherwise, they could have marketed this better and The Shoes could have had more success. |
