I think I'm one of about 3 people who think this album is good. Young tried his hand at New Wave, but on
Neil Young terms. More electronica than New Wave, this record was about 10 years ahead of its time. Too
bad the public didn't think so. Morons . . . . .

Now when you sign Neil Young to your label, you let him do his own thing. In 1983 it was a 50's retro thing
possibly inspired by the success of The Stray Cats. Again, the pundits stayed away from this record in
droves, and again, I thought it was a great album! Of course, I've always known what few others have . . .
Anyway, Geffen Records actually tried to sue Neil for breach of contract for recording 'inferior Neil Young
albums.' Go figure.
