Pete's baby brother (by 18 years!) tries his hand at the music thing. Does an excellent job, too. Although
Pete produced this album, and you can definitely hear him on some background vocals, Simon does an
admirable job of not sounding too much like his famous brother. Loved this record!

Simon taks another stab at it, this time with his backing band, Moving Target. A great record, burdened
only with sounding like it was released in 1985, which it was. Production is lacking somewhat, but the songs
are great! Sadly out of print by now.

12 years later, Simon releases another record! Actually, I discovered at literally the last minute that he was
playing at a club in Cleveland (Peabody's in the Flats) so I drove there in a snowstorm to see the show. I was
one of about 5 paying customers (roadies and family rounded out the 'audience') and this is where I bought
this disc. Great show no matter the "crowd"; the only thing that got me was that how much Simon sounded
like Peter Garbriel by now. Incidentally, when speaking with his brother, Joe, I was told that Simon had
some other albums released only in England during the late 80's / early 90s. Unfortunately, those are all out
of print. So, if you wanna trade . . . . email me now!

Thank God for the Internet! After visiting his website, I found out that Simon had other albums he recently
recorded, this being one of them. Sad to say, it's difficult to listen to, mainly because Simon is now suffering
from what all unsigned bands suffer from: overindulgence. His songs are way too long now, violating the
Prime Directive of pop songs: if you can't say it in under 4 minutes, don't say it at all. But I'd rather have this
then the drivel that's out there today.

A souvenir of Simon's acoustic tour for Animal Soup. Acoustic shows are nice, but I like the power of a
band rocking out. And the musicians Simon gets are always top notch. Why he didn't tour with a band is
beyond me. Still, this is nice to have.

Ya like? Check these out!
